Tuition Waiver Application
Thank you for your interest in the Financial Assistance Program at Metro Atlanta Dance. We will, to the fullest extent of our resources, waive or reduce tuition fees for those in need without regard to race, age, disability, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Waivers are limited and are not available for all Metro Atlanta Dance programs and activities, and assistance is awarded based on financial need. Please complete the attached application and gather the requested documentation. Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed. Applications are retained by Metro Atlanta Dance and are considered confidential documents.

GUIDELINES FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
1. Applications for financial assistance are submitted to and reviewed by the Executive Director and Studio Director.
2. Each application for assistance will be documented and recorded in a confidential file.
3. Financial assistance may be extended to individuals or families:
A. experiencing extreme temporary or long term financial hardship.
(i.e. medical emergency, drastic change in family income, etc.)
B. on public assistance, on welfare, or with low income.
C. meeting the criteria set by Metro Atlanta Dance determined by a sliding scale based on income/family size.
4. All information will be held in complete confidence and will be seen only by MAD Directors and Board Treasurers.
5. If you are awarded a tuition waiver, applications and requests will be evaluated on a session by session basis. We have two sessions – summer (June and July) and yearly (August through May). Applicants will be asked to submit new or additional information prior to the start of the next session.
6. Assistance for classes and camps may be limited and are determined based on need and available funding. Financial assistance is not available for all Metro Atlanta Dance programs.
7. All applications should be turned in at least two weeks prior to the start date of the session. Applications will continue to be accepted past this date, however, a payment plan must be in place before a student may begin classes. Late applications may delay the student's start date.
